I was born in Brazil and left my family when I was 12 to come to the U.S.

What is your biggest accomplishment to date?

My two wondrous sons.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of joining the PIF program?

Don’t think, do it; just line up a project before starting, and make a bigger impact than anyone expects.

If you couldn't be a PIF, what would you want to be?

A consultant and entrepreneur living in the wilds of New Hampshire working on whatever I found interesting and challenging while mentoring others and helping kids see the joy of STEM with the occasional mid-week hike or ski run. Oh, wait…

What do you do when you aren't changing the world?

Everything I do changes the world … butterfly effect. I also enjoy reading, hiking, skiing, swimming, tinkering, woodworking, photography, traveling, coding autonomous humanoid robots, (uhm, how much space have I got left?)
