The IoT - A View from the Previous Administration

In 2013 and 2014 I worked at the White House as a Presidential Innovation Fellow focused on the IoT, Cyber Physical Systems and Cyber Security.
During that time I created and launched the Smart America Challenge to show what could be done with IoT technology of the time.

We learned a few lessons about the technology, security, privacy, life cycle management.

I'd like to talk about the goals of the PIF program, it's impact to the White House and the government and specifically the benefits of the White House Smart America Challenge.
